Board of Directors
Chris Wilson started We Rock for Autism in March of 2014 to promote autism awareness and acceptance. Inspired by his cousin (and VP of We Rock for Autism) Jenifer and her son Cody, as well as his love for music, the foundation began to take shape. Chris has many family members and friends that have been affected by autism, and felt that his experience within the music industry and sales and marketing background, he could make a difference in the struggles to improve the status of autism acceptance. Chris loves and receives full support from his family, including his amazing wife Teresa, and children Samantha, Casey, Mackenzie and Olivia.
Jenifer Band is the Vice President of We Rock for Autism, but is also a mom, wife, Occupational Therapist and long time Autism advocate. Jenifer’s son, Cody, was diagnosed with autism in 1999 at the age of 2 and since then, Jenifer has dedicated most of her time and resources to spreading autism awareness and acceptance. Jenifer, along with her husband Scott, also run an autism awareness online store, www.AutismAwarenessShop.com where they sell a variety of autism related merchandise with the primary goal of increasing awareness and acceptance. Jenifer is a vital part of We Rock for Autism, as she is the one that helps research and determine worthy causes and events to support. Jenifer and her family (husband Scott, son Cody and step-son Blake) love attending and supporting Autism related events and going to Epcot and Disney as often as possible!
